Long time Arizona resident and news reporter Bill Williams is running for town council in his hometown of Prescott Valley, AZ
Bill is running because he wants to preserve the quality of life in Prescott Valley and he believes it has been diminished by over-development that has impacted quantity and quality of water.
Bill graduated from grade school, high school and college in Phoenix, AZ and he bought a home in Prescott Valley in 2008 when he semi-retired to appreciate the area’s natural beauty.
Bill knows the community He served as public information officer for ADOT during critical expansions affecting Prescott Valley residents including State Route 69 widening through town, the Highway 89/69 interchange near the Indian casino, and the remake of the I-17 interchange at Cordes Junction.

Bill believes in the Constitution and all of the amendments; he worked for the federal government as a writer on four occasions and held a secret clearance twice.
Bill is thankful for the hundreds of supporters who signed his petition and hundreds of others he keeps meeting at events and while walking through neighborhoods!
Williams served as a medic in the U.S. Air Force from 1972-75 and the G.I. Bill helped pay for his masters in journalism from Iowa State University, his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, and a two-year law degree from Yavapai College. He was a Boy Scout in Phoenix and his hobbies include photography and hiking.
